TRUST ME!

1.  Trust is difficult to explain. You can look it up and find that it has a variety of meanings. The first one that I saw says, "reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of person or thing; confidence." When you trust someone you automatically rely on them and have confidence in them. Trusting can be related to people or things, but most commonly we think of people.
2. I trusted my ex-boyfriend so much. He went to another school, but I never once suspected him of cheating on me. He and I were able to tell each other anything and I knew I could always count on him. This was how I defined trust, but the moment I found out he had cheated on me all trust was lost and our relationship was over. Need I point out I have a few trust issues when it comes to guys now?
3. When you want to trust someone you must first make sure they are worthy. Once you have decided they are, you must be honest with them and allow them to see "the real you." This is always the hardest part, but also the most important. You must be confident in yourself and in the person you are trusting. If you aren't confident then trust is impossible.
4. The best example of trust I can think of is a husband and a wife. Obviously, not every marriage is perfect nor do every couple trust each other, but the ones that do are great examples. They trust one another to go on business trips and go to bachelor parties for single friends. They trust that the other will love them even when he or she is fat and wrinkly. They know the true meaning of trust.
5. Trusting another person is one of the most important but difficult tasks human beings have to face. It is important because trust leads to greatness including love and other relationships, but for this exact reason it also the most difficult. To those who have been hurt trust seems impossible. It can break relationships faster than it can make them. It is the base of any relationship and therefore extremely important.
6. Without trust relationships wouldn't exist. Without relationships people wouldn't be happy. Without happiness is there a point to living? Trust is the base of relationships and relationships are a huge part of a person's happiness. You never hear of a happy person killing themselves so that leads me to question if happiness is the key to living.
