You've Got to Risk it to Get the Biscuit!

Heart pounding so loud it might as well be in your ears not your chest. Senses heightened to the point where you're a hybrid concoction with bat ears and eagle eyes (time to start picking your superhero name). Adrenaline. Crazy. Success or failure. Risk. There is nothing as scary as taking a risk. Jumping off a cliff into the lake or buying an outfit that is on the edgier side. It could be something as small as taking an AP class or as big as going sky diving (or the other way around, depending on who you are). Personally, I find no greater satisfaction than when taking a risk pays off. The moment you find that you're successful, everything else disappears. The fear subsides. Anxiety takes its foot off your chest allowing you to breathe again. It's exhilarating, almost as wonderful as the actual leap. Risk can define you. It can make you stronger, wiser, better. I wish I took more risks. I like the rush you feel right as you're about to go through with something big. The excitement that builds inside of you and bubbles over like a pot of boiling water on a burner set to high instead of medium. Risk. You can't have great successes without great risks. You've got to risk it to get the biscuit. Has anyone seen the movie Fired Up? If you haven't and you like stupid humor... Watch it! Heck, if you hate stupid humor... Watch it! Take a risk. You might like it.

P.S. I'm taking a risk by posting this three minutes before it's due!
