When it gets too cold and the sky begins to cry, his tears turn into little white flakes. Sometimes he cries a lot and sometimes he cries a little. Last night he cried A LOT. Enough for the roads to be slippery and the Wayzata School District to be closed for the day! It's a leap day miracle! Leap day...another scientific phenomenon. I'm not in the mood to discuss science. I want to talk about the fluffy white stuff out on the ground that symbolizes winter's arrival. Winter. I'd be perfectly happy without it, but since there's nothing I can do about it (until I'm able to move to an equator town) I just suck it up and embrace it. Besides, a free day off of school! I can handle that! The best part about this whole day? Staying in my pjs, watching movies, reading my new book, and catching up on some Zs!

Julia! I love your blog title-- thats SUCH a good song! I defs read (the Hunger Games, which totally blew my mind with its amazingness)for a good chunk of the day today too, we're both AP Comp nerds at heart.
