I'm Not a Magician.

Do you believe in magic?

I feel like there is something special about people who still believe that somehow, somewhere there are little sparks of magic lying around or hiding, waiting to be discovered. I'm not talking about straight up fairies and wizards and witches (anyone else still devastated they didn't receive thier Hogwarts letter on their eleventh birthday? I get it...touchy subject...I feel your pain.) No, I'm talking about the magic in moments, signs, and true love. The kind of stuff that happens every once in a while or once in a lifetime. The kind of stuff we stumble upon rather than buy in bulk.

Some of us are lucky and have already found that little sliver of magic and hope that makes our lives happier and worthwhile. The rest aren't as lucky...yet. I'm a firm believer that with a positive attitude anything can happen and all of that mushy gushy "everything happens for a reason" stuff? Yeah. I believe that too.

Magic can be found in everyday tasks and the simplest, littlest things. A moment. A split second of pure joy or love that literally warms our entire bodies from the tippy top of our scalps to the rough, walked-on skin of our heals. The moment when you know without a fraction of a doubt in your heart or mind that you've just experienced magic.

It may seem silly to some of you. Who still believes in that stuff? Don't we all? Don't we all still wish that fairy tales came true. Maybe not directly, but in their own unique way. Don't we all wonder what it'd be like if our dreams were fulfilled? Don't we all have hope that what someone has forever told us was impossible can be possible? Hope. Magic. Love. They're all the same. They all fill us with such joy and such awesomeness. I can only pray that every single person in this whole spinning place we call the world can feel that spark. Just once. For a second. A millisecond. It's worth it. Life is worth it.

We live for moments. We live for magic.

Just try to tell me you don't believe in it. Even an ounce. A smidge. An electron. It's out there. Just believe.
