Tonight is the Sadie Hawkins/Winter Formal Casino night! I'm so excited! We're going to dinner at Lord Fletcher's...never been there I don't even know what's on the menu, but it's sure to be a good time and when you're with friends you can't really go wrong. I'm mostly excited about my dress though. It's red with a sliver of an open back. It's my favorite dress that I've ever had (so far).
I was so impressed with how everyone asked their dates... go big or go home! All of my girl friends came up with such creative ways. Boys-- you know what that means! Prom askings better be top notch. Or else. They think we're kidding, but we're not.
The best part about this whole night (even better than the dress) is my confidence. I must have lost it for a while, but it found its way back. I no longer put other people's ideas and concerns before my own. I don't let people walk all over me. If I want to do something, I'm gonna go ahead and do it! Other people's opinions of me are just that: opinions. I know who I am and I'm not going to change that for anyone. And that right there is a damn good feeling.
I have a hunch about tonight. It's going to be AMAZING and I just look forward to having a blast with all of my friends! Last Winter Formal dance. Can I get a SENIORS SENIORS!
No plans tonight? Go see The Vow it looks so good! I'll probably go see that on Valentine's Day. Plus my favorite song plays in the preview "Enchanted" by Taylor Swift... where this blog got its title! See? Destiny. Go see it!
